Thanasis Gavos

Thanasis has worked as a journalist for the Greek Service of the BBC World Service, the Greek SKAI radio and TV, Radio Astra in Cyprus and kathimerini.gr news portal. He studied at the Department of Communication and Mass Media of the University of Athens and he lives in London. He is a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).


Isaac A. Karipidis, MA

Isaac is a Senior Foreign Correspondent in London. He is working as a correspondent for ANT-1 TV and Eleytheros Typos newspaper. He has worked for Flash radio station for several years while his articles have been published among else in Eleftherotypia and Vima newspapers as well as Metro magazine. He has a Master’s degree from the University of Westminster, London with a scholarship from Botsis foundation. He is a member of the committee of the Foreign Press Association (FPA) and a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).


Michael Kosmides

Michael is a Senior Foreign Correspondent for Alpha TV. He is a briefer at the Centre for international Briefing and assessor for the MEDIA Programme of the EU. He has worked for more than ten years at the BBC World Service, as Editor. Having started his career as a documentary maker, he has a great interest in the convergence of Media technologies. He is Vice President of the Foreign Press Association (FPA) and a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).


Maria Panagiotou

Maria is the editor in chief in the international desk for Espresso newspaper. She has worked for more than ten years in magazines (DIVA, EXODOS etc). She worked also in ERT (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation) and as a correspondent in London for the radio station STO KOKKINO. For six years she was the publishing manager for METRO magazine. During that period she was also the producer manager in several CD’s, DVD’s and concerts that have been made from the working team of the magazine. She had covered stories in Africa, Palestine and Genoa. She took part at the European Social Forum in London and she was a deputy candidate at national and international elections of 2004. She is member of ESPIT (Greek Union of Journalists Working in Magazines and Internet) and a member of the International Federation of Journalists.
